Talent By Design
Design the roles, pathways, and systems that help talent grow.

Strong talent systems do not happen by accident. People need clear roles, meaningful pathways, useful support, and opportunities to grow. Schools and systems need structures that connect recruitment, preparation, development, retention, advancement, succession, and transition.
Talent by Design makes those connections practical.
Who is it for
Talent by Design is for schools and systems that want to strengthen how people move into, through, and across roles. That includes partners who are:
- Building a grow-your-own pathway
- Redesigning educator or leadership roles
- Strengthening teacher leadership
- Creating clearer advancement pathways
- Connecting professional development to real roles and needs
- Planning for succession or transition
- Retaining strong people by creating better opportunities for growth
- Aligning talent strategy across multiple teams or programs

Start with a Talent System Review.
Most partnerships begin with a focused six-to-eight week review of how talent actually moves through your organization. We map the real pathways people take into and through roles, identify where your bench is thin, and name the positions with no ready successor.
You finish with three things: a map of your talent flows, a bench analysis by role, and a prioritized list of the gaps that matter most in the next two years.
Some partners take that and run with it internally. Others continue with us into design work, building the pathways, redesigning the roles, or writing the succession plans the review surfaced. Either outcome is a good one.
