Data Partners
World-class infrastructure, without building it yourself.

Schools run on data. Enrollment, attendance, grades, assessments, IEPs, state reporting, staff records, family communication — most of it sitting in systems that were never designed to talk to each other. The result is familiar: manual exports, reconciliation work nobody has time for, compliance issues discovered during the reporting window instead of months earlier, and leaders making decisions on partial pictures.
Marshall Data Partners builds and operates the infrastructure that brings it all together. We assign your organization a dedicated data engineer, connect your systems, and maintain the pipelines so your data is in one place and current every morning.
Teachers and leaders make consequential decisions every day. Getting them a clear view of what's actually happening is the foundation everything else stands on, including the work of developing and supporting the adults doing it.
Who it is for
Marshall Data Partners is for schools, charter networks, and districts that need reliable data infrastructure without building the internal capacity to run it.
It fits organizations that:
- Have data spread across a student information system, LMS, assessment platforms, HR systems, and a dozen ed-tech applications
- Rely on manual exports and spreadsheet reconciliation to answer basic questions
- Discover compliance and data quality issues during state reporting rather than before
- Want dashboards their team can actually use and maintain
- Cannot justify a full-time data engineering hire, or have tried to hire one and could not
What We Do
Phase 1: Get all your data in one place.
We inventory every system to understand where your data lives, then build automated pipelines that pull it into a central data warehouse. All of it: enrollment, demographics, rosters, attendance, behavior, grades, LMS activity, internal and state assessments, IEPs and specialized programs, state reporting, ed-tech applications, student contacts, surveys, recruitment and enrollment, graduation and post-graduate outcomes, and staff demographics, tenure, and certification.
Our standard build uses Apache Airflow to pull data nightly into a Snowflake warehouse.
Phase 2: Get your team access and tools.
We connect your warehouse to a visualization tool such as Tableau or Metabase, build an initial library of reports alongside your team, and coach your data leaders to build their own. If your team works in Google Sheets, we set up automated nightly extracts.
Phase 3: Connect your systems to each other.
Once everything flows into one place, it also flows back out, automating processes that are typically manual and error-prone:
- Registering students for state testing with the right accommodations applied
- Identifying incoming students who qualify for specialized programs and routing them to the right supports
- Running data quality checks that catch compliance issues immediately
- Generating letters and mailings for truancy, permissions, and discipline processes
- Provisioning student and staff accounts based on role and course enrollment
"The test of a data system isn't the dashboard. It's whether a principal can get a straight answer on a Tuesday without emailing three people."
