Our Programs
Connected programs for the full talent continuum.

Our programs support adults at different stages of their careers, from people exploring or entering education through teachers, teacher leaders, aspiring principals, and system leaders. Each program is designed for a specific role and stage. Together, they help partners build stronger, more representative benches and connect talent work across the organization.
Our Approach to developing talent
- Prepare new educators for real classroom work
- Support early-career teachers as they grow
- Develop experienced teachers and leaders from within
- Build representative educator and leadership benches
- Strengthen coaching, mentorship, and professional community
- Connect recruitment, development, retention, advancement, succession, and transition
- Build the talent systems needed to keep schools strong over time
The Teacher Residency is a rigorous and supportive one-year pathway to a teaching credential. Residents learn under the guidance of an experienced teacher, combining coursework, mentorship, and coaching with extensive classroom experience.
For partners, the residency builds a stronger and more representative teacher bench by preparing new educators for the realities of classroom practice.
The Intern Program supports people already leading a classroom on a permit or intern credential to earn a preliminary credential. Over two years, interns earn their California Teaching Credential without leaving the job, with coursework relevant to their day-today, one-on-one coaching, and a mentor at their school site.
For schools, the program creates a practical way to develop talent from within and invest in people who already know the community.
Teacher Induction supports early-career teachers as they move from preparation into sustained classroom practice. Participants receive coaching, feedback, and community as they strengthen instruction and clear their California Teaching Credential.
For partners, induction helps new teachers develop with support and intentional skill development with a focus on teacher quality and retention.
The National Boards Program will support experienced teachers pursuing National Board Certification and deepening their instructional practice.
For partners, the program invests in teachers who are already contributing to students and colleagues and builds instructional leadership from within.
Emerging Leaders is a 10-month cohort program for teachers preparing for future leadership roles. Participants build self-awareness, practice core leadership skills, and learn alongside peers from a range of school contexts.
For partners, the program strengthens retention, culture, and leadership benches by developing strong teachers for future leadership vacancies, while they remain in the classroom.
The Principal Preparation Program is a two-year program that will prepare aspiring school leaders for the real demands of the principalship. Participants will build leadership practice, mindsets and skills for the responsibilities of leading adults, students, families, and school communities to success.
For partners, the program supports succession planning, pipeline development and prepares leaders who understand the context they will one day lead.
