Dr. Robert Hart

Dr. Robert Hart is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Meteorology at Florida State University.  His research interests include: cyclone genesis and development (tropical and extratropical), hybrid cyclone structure, cyclone structural transition (including tropical and extratropical transition) and predictability, synoptic meteorology and weather forecasting, statistical and numerical weather prediction, ensemble forecasting and visualization techniques.  He holds a PhD from Pennsylvania State Univeristy.  He is the 2006 American Meteorological Society Banner I. Miller Award winner for outstanding contribution to the science of hurricane and tropical weather forecasting.
