Evaluating the New Space Policy: A Panel Discussion

This panel discussion reviews and evaluates the factors which will influence achieving the goals set out by President Bush on January 14 for the nation?s space program. The panelists comment on the proposal, identify potential outcomes, and areas of concern. They share their perspectives on factors that have influenced the success or failure of past space initiatives and discuss their applicability to the new program.
